Suggestion See Banned Member's Profile

    Why aren't we able to see banned member's profile? It would be cool if we are able to see their profile. See why they were banned, spoof around, etc. We would also be able to view information about the user, just in-case, he hops on another site and starts scamming there, we would be able to view most of his information located on his MCTrades account, which could prevent a lot of scamming we occur on other websites.

    This would also help catch ban evading users, viewing their information, and post history.

    MCMarket has already implemented this, and I think we should as well!

    Don't see any cons to this, only pros.

    I kinda miss my best friend's profile so implement this ;)

    Just going to give a little update on this. The only method of doing this on the XenForo version I have (afaik) is to allow everyone to bypass user privacy. Meaning if anyone sets their profile to be limited view it can still be seen by everyone. There was previously a php file that could be edited to show banned members but that does not seem to be the case anymore.

    I will continue to look into it and attempt to find another solution.

    Good thinking, make a new role or rank named "Banned" and allow moderators to give that rank to members, member having the banned rank will have the "banned" username banner, title, and will not be able to post or view anything on the site.

    If we do that they will not really be banned from the website. Which would impact aleter ego's (alts), and make the tracking just an issue to deal with. If need be I will look into getting an addon created to get this added.

    Auto IP ban if a user creates more than 1 account, multi accounting is not allowed generally..?

    For most of our alt reports people had made an account several months before, forget, and make another one. They are only IP banned if they continue to create them afterwards.

    Edit: This is only possible for us (at the minute) if we bypass user privacy permissions which I can't allow to happen. If there is another option that becomes available to me I will implement it.
