Hello, I thought that would be a good idea to add an interesting reaction. I tend to use this reaction alot and I think it would be a good idea to have it here too. Kind regards, Banned Reason: Troll / Toxicity Ban Ends: Never
I personally think other ratings portray the meaning meant by the interesting rating better. I find it hard to distinguish if people's interesting mean; a. interesting to refer to a useful statement. b. interesting to refer to a skeptical statement that they question. I think meaning A is easily displayed using "informative" or "useful" however a "Questionable" reaction could be a good solution for meaning B.
I just find is hard to differentiate the difference between "Wow, that's interesting!" and "Hmm, interesting.." if you know what I mean?
I personally think it does as without clarification it may cause users to interpret the communities response to a post incorrectly. For a new user, should they see the "Interesting" reaction as a positive or negative statement?
Please can you translate to English, I don't understand these words. Banned Reason: Troll / Toxicity Ban Ends: Never
He's basically wondering whether or not the "Interesting" reaction will come across as sarcastic (kinda like the "funny" reaction).
I personally don't think it would, but that's just my opinion. Banned Reason: Troll / Toxicity Ban Ends: Never
Post Ratings comes with a default 'Interesting' rating. All the owner of MCT would have to do is enable it. Simple as that.
In one of the versions of 'Post Rating', it comes with an 'Interesting' rating. You will have to search Google for the version number.
In my years of Xenforo work I have never ever seen a version that comes with Interesting as default. That's very much a reaction that people can add as an extra if they want to. Those in the screenshot are the defaults and have always been as far as I'm aware.
Well using the latest version which is what is always best, it is not a default. http://imgkk.com/i/j63_.png - Source: Post Ratings Xenforo Page Looking through every change log for the add on, Interesting has never been a default. I'd imagine you're either using a 3rd party version or have added it yourself and have forgotten.
To be honest, default or not, that's probably not the main thing we should be debating regarding inplementation.
