How to secure your account after purchasing:
Step 1.) After purchasing, firstly you want to login and change the email and password to your Spotify account. You would click edit your profile, and then it's pretty self explanatory from that point on.

Step 2.) There will be an option on the same page where you changed your email address titled "sign out of everywhere", you'd click this and it would sign out every device logged into the account.

Step 3.) Also on the same page where all the previous steps took place, there is an option to link a Facebook account. This isn't necessary but it does give you that extra bit of security, because there is an option to login with Facebook. If you were to have Facebook linked, then you can just login with that instead of entering your email and password every time you go to login.

What to do if your account gets hacked:
There is a very slim chance that you're Spotify account will be hacked, but in the case that it does I've personally dealt with Spotify support on multiple accounts and know how their account recovery system works. Firstly, you'd want to keep the original email I gave you because that might ask for that when you contact them. Once you contact them on live chat using their support website, explain that your account was hacked and that your email address was changed. They will go ahead and ask for the model of the phone that you used on the account and also ask for one of the playlists on the account, if you can answer these questions nine times out of ten they will change the email address back to the one you had on the account.
