Vouch Copies (New System) Vouch copies Vouch copies are a pain in the ass. My suggestion is to get a whole new system for it. For example, on th post of the thread include a box saying ‘give out vouch copies’ and then it would make you specify how many vc you are giving out and the minimum reputation. It would then auto implement text saying something like giving vouch copies. On a reply, you would see a button saying ‘request vouch copy’ and it would start a sort of conversation. The seller would then get buttons saying give vouch copy or don’t give vouch copy. If they selected give vouch copy a text box would appear saying “provide the product information” they would then click a reply/give vouch copy button. If they selected don’t give vouch copy a text box saying ‘Reason for denial (Optional)’ then there would be a reply button. Once the vouch copy was received. The receiver would click ‘Confirm of receivement and testing of product’ then there would be a place for a short review. They then would select ‘post’ it would put the review in the Vouch copies section on the actual thread. Reply to the thread and post on the sellers profile. This would stop people postfarming and would keep who receives vouch copies private.

As I stated in that thread, no one should be asking for VC's unless the OP has stated they are giving them out.
People can design their threads as they like, if it does not state on it that VC's are being given out no one should ask, we cannot just force people to mention certain stuff, especially to those with thread designs. They'd have to compromise their design to stop a few comments.
I like this idea, but I think it would be better if people had a choice if they or if they didn't want to use this feature. +1 from me
feels unnecessary. We aren't really that lazy, it would just be quicker to write the information on the thread. It only takes 2 seconds.
While the system proposed would require an extensive amount of custom development, we have added the following rule: “1.21 Vouch copies (VCs) may only be requested through private messages if and only if the thread creator has specified they are providing them. VCs requested on a thread are considered low-quality posting and will be deleted.” If you see anyone asking for VCs in a thread, or sending unsolicited PMs surrounding VCs, be sure to report it and the moderation team will get to it immediately Thank you for the suggestion!
