We'd like to welcome two new members to our moderation team, here to assist with keeping things going smooth.

New Team Members

• Oliver has joined our moderation team as a chat moderator, working to improve and clean up communications through moderating messages.
• Tim has joined our moderation team as a moderator, helping ensure not only the chat, but also threads and messages in general are clean and ideal for business usage.

Promotions

• Jerry has been promoted to a moderator from being a chat moderator, now working to assist with keeping our forum clean.

Resignations

• Anti has resigned from our team as a dispute resolver.

Features we craft to improve your trading experience.

• We've added on to our chat URL white-list to make sharing your favorite content easier.
  • New additions include hastebin.com, youtu.be, and more.
• Cheer on your friends in the community! Account upgrade and gift upgrade purchases are now announced in the chat.
• Can't figure out what meme to use or need one real quick? Try out our /meme command, immediately appending a random meme to the end of your message.
• Get virtually all your questions answered with our /magic command.
• The cape code form no longer provides a text box for providing proof of ownership, but instead a file upload requesting one's Minecon pass with their MCTrades username on a physical object in the image provided.
• NameMC links now open in new tabs rather than overriding your current one.
• Fixed a bug from the last update in which disallowed the uploading of JPG files.
• Removed resource thread prefixes.
• As due to a lack of usage, with just two members using it, the bookmark system has been removed.
• As due to absolutely nobody using it most of the time, our timed reveal functionality has been removed-but may return as something...more special later.
• Use our newly released MCTrades Toolbox to quickly search for information such as associated Minecraft accounts, potential scam accounts, ensure emails are safe, and more.
  
• With our release of the MCTrades Toolbox also comes a giveaway manager, an easy way to distribute prizes in a giveaway without them going bad due to widespread use. We'll be improving it over the next month with more options provided to giveaway creators.

  • [Diamond] Up-thread every 12 hours with 9 hours between ups globally with 1 schedulable.
    
  • [Emerald] Up-thread every 6 hours with 6 hours between ups globally with 2 schedulable.
• Modified the limitations set regarding signatures.
  • [Everyone] Place up to 3 links, 1 image, and 5 smilies.
  • [Obsidian] Place up to 5 links, 1 image, and 7 smilies.
    
  • [Diamond] Place up to 15 links, 5 images, and 25 smilies.
    
  • [Emerald] Place unlimited links, 15 images, and 50 smilies.
• Members wielding the obsidian rank may now organize their own medals and change their username once for free.
• With the new perks of wielding the obsidian rank, its requirements have also increased.
  • Members must be registered for at least 30 days, not have a caution banner or account limitations, have at least 150 messages, 35 or more trophy points, 25 positive post ratings or more, and no more than 15 warning points.

• 1.22 Products, software, services, and guides in which are related to financial, direct consumer, and/or identity fraud may not be distributed using services provided by MCTrades.
• 1.23 The MCTrades platform and services may not be utilized to distribute products, software, services, and guides in which are meant to be, or generally utilized to commit the unauthorized overwhelming and/or attacking of systems.

Cosmetic Keeping Things Looking Gorgeous

Explore our virtual realm easier with our cosmetic improvements.

• We've updated some minor code within our association system in which worked to center content to fix a depreciation issue.
• Broken Minecraft avatars in the member profile sidebar have now been fixed.
• Moved and renamed multiple sections of the forum.
• Banner advertisements now have an image alternatives set.
• Updated our Font Awesome version so that you can enjoy even more of your favorite Font Awesome icons.
  • Note that this did require us to create additional BB codes, however we plan to compress it over the next month. Read more on our BB Codes Help Page.
• Renamed "Diamond to Emerald Upgrade" to simply "Diamond to Emerald" to better match other upgrades available.
• Removed the "Groups" tab from the header navigation and moved it to the drop-down navigation.
