Hello MCTrades!

Some of you might remember me from my previous positions here, both as a moderator and dispute resolver. I am proud to announce that I will be taking over as the owner of MCTrades and will be working very hard to bring it back to its prime. Soon after buildblox’s announcement regarding the site’s current condition, I decided to step in and provide whatever I could offer. Hopefully, in due time we can boost the site’s activity and grow as a community.

I have been a part of MCTrades since the beginning and intend on being a part of it until the end. buildblox will be around over the following months to ensure a smooth transition, though do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Staff Team

I am very satisfied with Avery’s work and what he has done for this community over the past few months, for that reason he will be kept on as a moderator. Although he can no longer be the only moderator, and I will be actively looking for staff to grow the current team.

Payment Methods

Based on numerous suggestions and complaints regarding the demand for bitcoin as an accepted payment method for ad slots, user upgrades, name colors, etc, I will begin manually accepting it. This may already be integrated with ad slots but until I can verify its functionality and deploy automation throughout the website they will need to be hand-processed; until then I will accept this type of payments through private messages. For the time being, we will also continue accepting PayPal until a new solution is found.

Suggestions

The future of MCTrades is very much reliant on you, the community. I take heavy consideration of suggestions and am eager to hear what each of you would like to see added, changed, or removed from this website. I will neither be able to spot every mistake nor fix everything immediately, but it will be a process and I look forward to improvements.
