New Sections, Features, Rule Modifications, and a Sale!

As we continue to expand our userbase, we have also increased the items in which we provide to enhance your experience at MCTrades. Some of which includes new sections being created, feature additions, and rule modifications.

MCTrades has a new partner by the name of NotroDan , a prodigious Minecraft YouTuber. Make sure to subscribe to their channel over at https://www.youtube.com/c/NotroDan .

We've replaced our old post ratings and smilies with new, modern graphics for a cleaner look. Along with this but not as new, we've added a FontAwesome BBCode to MCTrades allowing you to use FontAwesome icons easily. The BBCode and an example usage is at the bottom of this announcement.

For those getting tired of constantly posting "bump" to bump your thread just to ask moments later to have it deleted, fear bumps no more! We've implemented a new Up Thread system. Each user is able to up a thread once every day, resetting at midnight. Emerald members can up two threads per day, one of which could be a scheduled thread, automatically bumping based on a period of time.

As due to popular demand, we have created requesting sections for OG Accounts, Semi-OG Accounts, Ranked Accounts, Cape Accounts, and Cape Codes. Unlike other sections in which we use a prefix based system, these requesting sections are sub-forums, therefore separating the offering threads and requesting threads to make looking for your soon to be account or cape code even easier. Along with that, we've created a Forum Games and Giveaways section.

To increase load speeds, we've limited the usage of graphics interchange format profile pictures (GIFs) to only Emerald members and high staff. Existing graphics interchange format profile pictures will not be removed/deleted. Along with this, we've introduced gifting. This feature allows you to gift ranks and name colors to other members by clicking "Gift" on their user card or profile. We've also implemented coupons for upgrades! We'll be giving them out starting in October, but you could also buy and gift them to your friends through the upgrades page as well.
We've released new Discord rules in which are visible on our Rules page or within the spoiler below.

MCTrades' Official Discord Server Rules:

• 5.1 All global rules apply to MCTrades' official Discord server.

• 5.2 Do not attempt to start flame wars or large scale arguments within public chats.

• 5.3 Masked/shortened links are strictly prohibited from being advertised in MCTrades' official Discord server under any circumstances.

• 5.4 Do not mention spam or spam in general.

• 5.5 All advertisements must either not contain a link or link to a thread/post on MCTrades.

• 5.6 Advertisements may only be made within the "#advertising" channel.

• 5.7 Selfbot commands must automatically be replaced or deleted unless within the "#bots" channel within 30 seconds.

• 5.8 Bots may not automatically send messages for you unless approved by the MCTrades team.

• 5.9 Selfbots may not be triggered by other user's actions.

• 5.10 Selfbots may not interact with other users.

For everyone within our Discord in which has purchased an upgrade such as Diamond and Emerald, please make sure to link your Discord account to MCTrades by October 1, 2017 to avoid loosing your Diamond/Emerald role.

FontAwesome is a free vector graphic provider in which we are now allowing users to utilize with BBCodes. Simply use the following BBCode with the icon name within to place an icon.

For example, the icon "suitcase" can be found at http://fontawesome.io/icon/suitcase/ . Therefore, you'd replace "<ICON NAME>" with "suitcase" and the output when saved is . These icons also support color BBCodes , make them spin by adding "fa-spin" , and even everything combined ! Some icons may also support bold and italic.
