    Attempted scam


    Attempted scam = permanent ban. None of this 'come back in three months and scam someone' bs

    Attempted scamming puts community at risk. Amount does not matter, ban.

    I wasn't talking about the amount, It's about how was the attempt itself
    Like if someone lied about a ban on an account thats an attempt to scam

    At least add "attempted to scam in x/x/xxxx" when they are unbanned

    Takes longer than 3 months for a person to change their ways from attempted scamming to being legit. At the very least a banner when they're unbanned is necessary.

    And, if you're saying people change, all scammers should also be unbanned after a period of time. That, I believe, is dangerous to the community,

    You may or may not have known, I was banned here for 3 months already, wether you like it or not, I don’t agree, as I changed. Possibly a banner after an the unban yes. It does for some take longer, but for me no. I never said EVERYONE changes, I said SOME do.

    The some isn't enough to convince me that allowing those who have attempted to scam in the past should be allowed to use the site. It compromises my ability to deal with confidence.

    Then simply don’t do any deals on the site, there’s always a risk of getting scammed, whether they have been banned before or not.

    Staff should be doing what they can in order to keep the site safe. Allowing people who have attempted to scam in the past just three months prior, yes that's quite a short amount of time, is dangerous to the community. Sure there are people who are able to just join fresh and scam but if staff are able to cut down on the number of users who have intent to scam, it makes dealing significantly more safe. Regardless, I don't deal here frequently and just wish to sell a couple items.

    As of now I will leave the ban to 3 months, however if the user attempted to scam a large sum, compared to a few dollars a permanent ban will be considered. Upon return of the 3 month ban they will receive a caution banner until they can prove they no longer need it. Thank you for your suggestion.
