Suggestion New feature for Emerald

Banner = Paid
Paid = Site Revenue

Hideable by Emerald = Less Demand
Less Demand = Less Revenue
Less Revenue = Poor
Poor = Site shuts down

a little off topic, but still on the same idea, has anyone had the problem of where you are trying to see recent posts and the ads follow you down the screen and keeps replacing the spot where recent posts are?

 

I agree with both of this which is why it should just stay as is, it's doing just fine with how it is right now. But I do also agree with annoying banners but as Authy said "the annoying banners are the best banners".

 

Tbh banners probably make more than ranks

This defeats the purpose of having advertisement packages on the site.

As previously mentioned by another user, the demand for these ads will fall which will result in less revenue.

Looking at it from an advertiser/business owners standpoint, I wouldn't purchase an ad knowing that it wouldn't be getting enough exposure.

 

Thank you for your suggestion Cole. I do see where you are coming from however as Denial said, the users who tend to purchase ads would be less inclined to do so if they knew anyone that purchases a rank does not see them. I personally don't see it as being a big issue and with google sense constantly rejecting my application there'll only be the purchasable ads so there won't be as many around as there previously was.
