PROJECT OVERVIEW
Name: MCList.org

Mission: MCList.org aims to revolutionize the stagnant industry of how current MC Server List sites advertise the MC community.

Fundraising Goal for Development: $200/1600-1800

PROJECT STATUS

• Graphics branding has been made
• Website Development is underway with installments of $200 each till a total of $1600 is completed
• A vague budget of $200 is set aside for both plugin and discord bot development
• Marketing plan is being worked on and will rely heavily on word of mouth discord advertisements & youtuber shoutouts.

SERVER OWNER INCENTIVES

1. Discord Integration = Convenience
Through the discord bot, server owners will be able to conveniently update their server ip, description, discord invite link, banner image, server website url, etc.

MCList will still allow server owners to do it via website, however will always have the option to update via discord instead of visiting the website, logging in, and finding the text fields you need to change to keep your server up to date.

2. Gold or Diamond Sponsored Accounts
There will be a total of 3 Diamond sponsored accounts. These accounts will have their server slot displayed at the top of every page as a slideshow banner slot. That is to say, when the homepage first loads only the 1st Diamond server will be visible for a certain TBD duration before transitioning to the 2nd Diamond account's server and so on to the 3rd.

There will be 3 Gold sponsored accounts per primary server gamemode type. For example, suppose MCList decides there are 4 primary gamemodes (Factions, Creative, Minigames, UHC) there will be 12 Gold accounts total. The number of primary server gamemode types has yet to be determined. These accounts will have their server displayed underneath Diamond in the traditional vertically stacked display that other listing sites already show.

Primary server gamemode types will be explained in more detail in the MONEZITATION section of this pitch.

3. Automated Scheduler
Instead of relying on making your own spreadsheet and schedule to manually overwrite the next server owner's information to be displayed in your sponsored slot, use the automated scheduler that MCList offers.

Plan what server banner, description, ip, etc. will be displayed ahead of time for certain hourly time slots on the certain days you're renting it out for. No need to manually rent out slots with spreadsheets and alarms to remind you to update your sponsored slot.

YOUTUBER INCENTIVES

1. Automated Escrow = No manager needed
A system will be implemented that allows credits to be bought and cashed out. Youtubers will be able to see the server owners' credit balances and be able to conveniently see how much USD, GBP, etc. they will cash out with if a deal took place. Youtubers will be able to filter out server owners' who approach them via the Discord Bot if they meet a valid balance.
Let's say a youtuber sets a filter of $200-300/video at the minimum. 10 server owners' click the button on the website or in their discords run the command for the bot to message that youtuber they're interested in discussing a deal. Only 2 of the 10 server owners' meet the youtuber's filter with credit balances equivalent to the range of $200-300 or above. Thus only 2 notifications from the bot would make it to the youtuber of "serious" deals.

There will be NO FEES for cashing out credits for world currency.

2. Free stream advertisements
Youtubers will be able to run a /stream command in game in which the website will popup with a modal box that advertises the youtuber's channel link. If the stream was marked as /stream paid, then the server's ip that the streamer is on will also be displayed in the modal box, redirecting web traffic to go check that server out or the stream out at their leisure.

The modal must be closed or overrided by another modal popup box, until we feel there will be a duration instead as to prevent "spam of advertisements" on the website to visitors.

3. Analytics
Youtubers on their profile will be able to access the analytics that they receive from 2 can use it to display as proof that a server got joins, they have clicks/viewers to their channel, etc.

PLAYER INCENTIVES

1. Making Friends
Players can use the search bar not only to find servers but also to find other usernames regardless if they're discord usernames or ingame usernames. MCList will provide what discord communities and mc servers has the searched username been on, along with the duration they spent in each community and so forth.

If players want this data to be disabled, it can be done so via privacy settings.

2. Voting Convenience
Players will be able to vote on the website, via discord bot, or ingame through the plugin directly. The way this will be done is that voting will require your ingame account to be linked to your discord account. Voting captcha's and website loading times will no longer be a hassle for you to get your reward in game and quickly vote for the server you're playing on.

MONETIZATION - HOW WILL MCLIST MAKE MONEY?

1. Traditional Sponsored Accounts/Slots Bidding System
Any account can bid with credits, USD, or BTC for the Diamond and Gold sponsored accounts. Diamond would have a higher starting bid than Gold since its displayed on each page.

2. Server of the week GROUP bidding system
Any account can bid with credits, USD, or BTC as a "vote" toward the next week's server tag of the week. As shown in the powerpoint, there is an example where Factions ends up winning with the most bids accumulated. Thus next week, Factions would be the tag that's selected by default when any visitor lands on the homepage of mclist.org.

This entails better homepage advertisement for Gold Sponsored accounts who have their server's primary gamemode selected as Factions. Thus only servers that focus most on factions will be displayed on the frontpage by default, giving variety of sponsorships.

This bidding system will hinder the appearance of Hypixel, Mineplex, etc. (the largest servers) appear on the front page with most overall # of votes, giving other servers with niche gamemodes a greater chance of being seen.
