    No, I don't have a fancy company name or some text with a 2px stroke and a 15% shadow with saturated color hues to match modernized standards. (I can make one if that's REALLY what it takes.)

    Benefits of having a freelance developer:
    • No political correctness.
    • If you don't like my work don't pay me (not saying you have to in the first place).
    • If you want a cock on your site, believe me I'll put cocks on your site.
    • No bullshit easy to work with system.
    It's really a hit or a miss, I don't have any examples to show you of my sites because I delete them and make new ones every week. Maybe ask Buildblox for some reference, he's seen some of my nicer ones.

    You're most probably going to end up getting scammed on forums unfortunately if you're not going to take an upfront payment.
    Whats stopping "clients" getting you to show them a live preview then taking off with the site?

    nothing and i wont care
    unlike the other 90% who use this sorta thing as a side gig to buy coffees, its a fun hobby for me
    and even if that was the case nobody is going to "get me" to show them a live preview. they can either look at pictures or go to someone else

    Thats a very bad attitude to have. Also, clients will need to see a live preview to check your:
    a) not just showing them an image design
    b) test the responsiveness of the website across devices
    c) peace of mind

    Good luck with your service however.

    b) didnt i tell you my websites wont run like shit?
    c) pretty sure they'll have it just fine, if they're so worried when they DONT need to pay me up front theyre full of anxiety for no reason

    i don't appreciate the whole political correctness and passive aggressive attitude, i get it's a business/stranger like gesture but i talk to people like people not business associates. this shit isn't going on angie's list it's a hobby of mine so it's not a "service" like a business, it's just me as a hobby

    about a month over late but thanks
    a lot of people dont like my openess because it comes off as overly aggressive which isnt the case
    im a pretty nice guy, just in situations like thesei really dont like being two faced with people
    i just like working on websites sometimes

    That seems understandable, great to see a developer who is happy to not receive payment till the client is happy!

    Yeah, I try to think about how I'd want things to go if I was purchasing a website from someone,
    the last thing i'd want is to feel like i had wasted my money.
